Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in The Daily Feather! When you subscribe to The Daily Feather, a Substack account will automatically be created for you. 

This provides you with the ability to easily sign into The Daily Feather and, on your Manage your subscription page:

  • Troubleshoot any email delivery issues

  • Cancel your paid subscription to The Daily Feather


How do I sign into my Substack account?

You can manage your Daily Feather subscription via the Manage your subscription page, at this link: https://dimartinobooth.substack.com/account

You don’t need a username or password to sign in. Simply enter your email address and click the “Email sign in link”, and a special link will be sent to your email inbox. Click on the link and you will automatically be logged in.

If you can’t sign into your account, you may have subscribed to The Daily Feather  with a misspelled email address. Get in touch with Substack Support who can help you fix any login issues: Contact Substack Support

How do I receive The Daily Feather newsletters?

To receive all our emails when they’re published, sign up for a subscription here: dimartinobooth.substack.com/subscribe

When you sign up for a free or paid subscription, you’ll automatically receive a Welcome email that lets you know your signup was successful.

I haven’t received any emails yet from The Daily Feather.

If you signed up but have not received an email, send yourself a test email from your Daily Feather account using this link: https://dimartinobooth.substack.com/account/email-test

If you don’t see the test email, first check your Spam folder, and if it’s there, mark it as Not Spam. If it’s not in your Spam folder, your email provider may have blocked emails from us. Get in touch with the Substack Support team who can check whether there’s a block: Contact Substack Support


I used to receive emails from The Daily Feather but they’ve stopped – what happened?

Sometimes a newsletter may appear in your email’s Promotions tab or Spam folder. We recommend checking both places.

If the email is in Spam, mark it as ‘not spam’ and add our email address to your contact list. All posts will be sent from dimartinobooth@substack.com

If you’ve checked both places, it’s possible that a previous email was marked as Spam and your email provider blocked us from sending further emails. Get in touch with Substack Support who can check if there’s a block: Contact Substack Support


How do I cancel my paid subscription to The Daily Feather?

Replying “unsubscribe” or “cancel” to an email from The Daily Feather will not unsubscribe you or cancel your paid subscription. To cancel your paid subscription, please follow the below instructions.

You can manage your The Daily Feather subscription via the Manage Subscription page, at this link: https://dimartinobooth.substack.com/account

To pause or cancel your paid subscription, on the Manage Subscription page, go to Account actions and click on “To cancel your paid subscription, click here.”

On the next page, you have the option to either pause your subscription by clicking Pause Subscription, or cancel it by clicking Cancel Subscription.

By canceling your paid subscription, you will automatically become a free subscriber, and will no longer receive paid content, but will continue to receive any emails sent out to both free and paid subscribers.
